Coming in at 27.5 inches in length, this slide bar gives you the ability to mount it at head height for those that are taller, while also being able to adjust it downward for ease of use for those that are shorter, or for any elderly or disabled family members.
Built using stainless steel and brass, this is really the only slide bar that we would consider buying. While most slide bars have a metal bar, the holders and brackets are often plastic. That's actually where a lot of the wear and tear happens, so getting a slide bar made from all metal will get you many more years of use.
Adding to its durability, the hand shower holder uses a hand crank to tighten down or loosen the holder so you can adjust the shower head height. That eliminates the risk of the shower head not being able to hold its position while set, unlike the standard holders that are controlled by push buttons.
